A nail trim is included with any full service groom.
All grooms include a nail-trim. Filing individual nails for a smooth round finish can be added for anyone who prefers.
For dogs who do not have long hair on their feet
Pets with excessively matted hair will have to be stripped! This is known as a force strip because there are no other options as to what can be done. Brushing these pets out is painful and unfair. It makes them skittish of grooming equipment and untrusting of the groomer. De-matting is certainly something that can be done, but only on pets whose coats are not matted to the point that doing so would hurt the animal.
Flea and tick baths are mandatory on any pet where these parasites are discovered. This option can be added to any full service package.
Often, these require a longer standing-time than general purpose shampoos to combat the condition they're designed for. For severe skin issues the maximum amount of label time suggested is recommended. The bath time is always extended by these contact times.
